Objectives
  1. Familiarize oneself with the structure of the Government and how its functions are carried out.
  2. Understand the proper office management procedures and record-keeping practices in public offices.
  3. Enhance skills in providing quality customer service in the public sector.
  4. Comprehend the Public Service Act, Cap 298, along with its 2019 amendments.
  5. Increase awareness of the Public Service Regulations of 2022.
  6. Understand the public service code of ethics and conduct.
  7. Understand the Public Service Standing Orders 2009.
  8. Acquire knowledge on retirement preparation and introduce them to available investment opportunities (such as UTT and AMIS) as retirement strategies.
  9. Acquire knowledge on health-related issues including HIV/AIDS and chronic non-communicable diseases.
  10. Enhance understanding of office confidentiality and security within the Government.
